Mr. James Henry George, 58, of Hope Mills, NC, died suddenly on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

James was born October 3, 1964, in Buffalo, NY, to Ronald Allen George and Martha Jean Ott George.  He retired from the US Army.

James is survived by his wife, Mary Rebecca Irene Hudson-George; a sister, Connie George; a brother, Charles George; three daughters, Jess George, Angelica Duff, and Macie-Lynn Shafer; two grandchildren, Hallee-Rae Duff and Niklaus Steen; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Resurrection Church, 1419 H. Bullard Rd., Hope Mills, NC 28348, with a memorial service beginning at 5:30 p.m.
