Over 8 years, the couple welcomed 2 sons, Richard and John. His children remember him as a driven and supportive father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

William loved music, was an avid dancer and was proud of his dancing trophies earned at competitions as a young man. He was a dedicated, hard-working and loyal husband, father and friend who loved dancing, fishing, gardening and who was passionate about family and loving life.

A funeral is scheduled for January 15th at 2 pm with visitation beginning at 1 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. Rev. William Beasley will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate William's life.
