James B. Lancaster's Obituary
Mr. James B. Lancaster, 73,of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
Funeral services will beheld on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 11 am in Harvest Baptist Church withPastor Norwood Tadlock presiding. The burial will follow at CumberlandMemorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from6 to 8 pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home.
James was born January 18,1941, in Cumberland County to the late Fleta Jane and George W. Lancaster, Sr. He was an Army veteran. James loved to sing, however, he was mostpassionate about sharing the gospel and trying to win souls for Jesus. He wastruly a fisher of men.
He was preceded in death byhis brothers, Leon Elwood Lancaster and George W. Lancaster, Jr.; and a sister,Clara Nissen.
He is survived by hisdaughter, Kim Lancaster of Charleston, SC; brother, John Lancaster ofFayetteville; 5 grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
