James Milton Register, age 89, went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2018. He was a retail manager at Belk Hensdale for 39 years. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Ann, sister Francis Fulcher of Eastover, daughter Ann Douds, son-in-law Dennis Douds and his beloved grandson, Donald James "DJ" Douds of Apex along with numerous other relatives and friends that he loved so much. The family will receive friends on Thursday December 27, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home with the funeral following at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.
