FAYETTEVILLE - James E. Roberts, 82, of Fayetteville, died Monday, July 30, 2012, in his home. He was retired from the Army and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, in Lafayette Memorial Park West on Raeford Road. Visitation will be at the home. Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Evelyn; three daughters, Connie, JoAnn and Arleen; a son, Steven; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross. Visitation will be at the home.
