Mr. James Earl Tew , 84 , of Fayetteville, died Thursday, October 22, 2015. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 12noon to 2pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2pm, burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.

He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, a retired postal service employee & a carrier with Dak America.

Preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Tew, a grandson, Donald Strickland & a brother, Lawrence Tew.

Survived by his sons, Wayne Rambout & wife Nancy, Stevie Tew & Wife Priscilla all of Fayetteville. a daughter, Billie Jean Miller & son-in-law Paul M.Miller all of Fayetteville. three brothers, John & Clarence Tew of Fayetteville & James Tew of Myrtle Beach, four sisters, Lois Croom of Fayetteville, Evelyn Lashey of Wilmington, Bonnie Wood of Mantono, Ill & Barbara Hurley of Salisbury, MD. six grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren
