Mrs. Janice Guy Clayton, 60, of Apollo Beach, Florida, formerly of Fayetteville, died suddenly in an automobile accident on Thursday, March 22, 2007, in Valrico, Florida. Mrs. Clayton was a lifelong member of Northwood Temple. She was a native of Fayetteville and graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1965. She spent her career as an oral surgery assistant. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, March 27, 2007, in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Dr. John Hedgepeth and Rev. A Edward Beddingfield officiating. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park. A visitation will take place from 6 to 8 pm Monday, March 26, 2007, at the funeral home. Mrs. Clayton is survived by her husband, Robert \\"Bob\\" Thomas Clayton Sr., of Apollo Beach; son, Rob Clayton and his wife, Jane, of Fayetteville; two daughters, Ashley Clayton of Fayetteville and Becky Hawkins of Chapin, SC; her parents, Ruby and Walter R. Guy Sr., of Fayetteville; a brother, Walter R. Guy Jr., of Fayetteville; and six grandchildren, Harley, Robert, Peter, Heather, Rachel, and Justin.
