Jarrod Hartley, 27, of Hope Mills, went to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Jarrod was born in Fayetteville, NC on May 17, 1993 to Angela Benton and Heathe Hartley. Following graduation from Gray's Creek High School in 2011, Jarrod attended Western Carolina University where he met and later married Rosemary.

As a child, Jarrod enjoyed playing sports including soccer, basketball, baseball, and roller hockey. A lifelong Carolina Hurricanes and University of Alabama fan, Jarrod rarely missed a televised game. ROLL TIDE! He also enjoyed watching UFC fights and was an avid gamer.

Among Jarrod's many accomplishments, his beautiful daughters, Sadie and Savannah, were his greatest. A proud father, Jarrod's love for his girls was immeasurable and he was happiest while spending time with them. With his smile, Jarrod could light up any room, but shined brightest when he was with his daughters.

He is survived by his daughters, Sadie Grace, 6, and Savannah Paige, 4; their mother, Rosemary; mother, Angela Benton; step-mom, Brook Myrick; maternal grandparents, Allen and Mary Odom, George and Kathy Benton; and aunts, uncle, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home from 12 to 1 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021.  A Memorial Service will follow at 1pm in the Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Masks and Social Distancing will be required.
