Mrs. Jean Wheeler Brown, 81 of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband George H. Brown, Jr. and a brother John D. "Luke" Wheeler and her parents Alma and John D. Wheeler. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Chapel with Rev. Archie Barringer, officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Mrs. Brown is survived by her sons George H. Brown, Jr. and wife Susan of Fayetteville, Joseph F. Brown and wife Cheryle of Knightdale, Anthony W.
