FAYETTEVILLE- Mrs. Jean Faulkner Dunn, 72, of Fayetteville, died Friday, July 4, 2008, at Brunswick Hospital. Mrs. Dunn was retired from Burkhead Devane after 40 plus years of service. She was an active member of Victory United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7, 2008, at 2 pm in Victory United Methodist Church with Revs. Chris Humphreys and Tryon Lancaster officiating. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband, Jerry G. Dunn of the home; her daughter, Stella J. Dunn of Greenville; a sister, Norma Lewis of Fayetteville; and a brother, Robert Faulkner of California. Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Hattie Faulkner, two sisters, Margaret Ray and Lillian Allen, and a brother, Reese Faulkner. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
