Jean J. Irving, 77, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012, in her home in Harrisonburg Va. She was previously a resident of Fayetteville NC where she spent most of her adult life. As was her wish there will be no Funeral service. A simple Burial will occur on Friday December 7th, 11:30 AM at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville NC. Dr. Bruce Martin of Village Baptist Church will officiate.Following the graveside a reception will be held at the home of Patty Sleem (Jean's Cousin) at 3528 Turnberry Circle, Fayetteville, NC 28303. 910-977-6611. Mrs. Irving was survived by her two children, Ann Irving Niland of Harrisonburg Va and David Lee Irving of Surfside Beach SC; three grandchildren, Joe and John Niland and Lauren Irving; one brother, James Ray Jarvis of Louisiana. Mrs. Irving was preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Clarence Jarvis; her husband Richard Lewis Irving; her sister Myrna McKinney. As was her wish there will be no Funeral service.
