Mrs. Jean Strickland Little, 70, of 5222 Pala Verde Circle, Fayetteville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, in Mount Gilead Baptist Church on Cliffdale Road, with the funeral following at 3 p.m. by Pastor Sherrill Boykin. Burial in church cemetery. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Strickland Johnson; father, Thomas Strickland; and a sister, ErnestIne Powell. She is survived by her husband, Willis Neal Little Sr. of the home; daughters, Cynthia Jean Dinner and husband Jay of Fayetteville, and Penny Little Helms and husband Michael Helms Sr. of Monroe; a son, Willis Neal Little Jr. and wife Robin of Fayetteville; a sister, Rossie Carnes of Charlottesville, Va.; a brother, Carlie Strickland of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Matthew Dinner, Michael Helms Jr., DeAnna Helms Glover, Josh Dinner and Denton Little; and five great-grandchildren, Hailey Dinner, Gabriel and Samuel Glover, and Sierra and MaKayla Dinner.
