Mrs. Jean Lenora Perkins, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008, in the Brian Center of Concord. Mrs. Perkins was born in London and was a longtime member of Calvary Assembly of God. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, in Calvary Assembly of God with the Rev. Mark Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Main Post Cemetery on Fort Bragg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, July 21, 2008, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Townsend; a sister, Joan Bryant; her husband, James Perkins Sr.; and a son, David Perkins. She is survived by a son, James Perkins Jr. and wife Judy of Concord; and two granddaughters, Carrie and Kelley.
