Jeannie Cale Evans, 69 of Raleigh passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 in UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

Jeannie was a teacher in Cumberland and Wake counties. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gail Eugene Evans; father, E.C. Cale, and daughter, Laura Evans.

Graveside services Saturday, February, 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel Evans, Sr. of Charlotte and Christopher Evans and wife Lina of Montevallo, Alabama; sister, Donna Belcher and husband Daniel of Fayetteville; brother, Edward Cale of Raleigh; mother and step-father, Lizzie and Gaspar Gonzalez of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Kayla Simmons, Amanda Dzengeleski, Rachael Evans, Taylor Evans, James Dzengeleski, Max Evans and Daniel
