Jefferson Scott McAlister of Fayetteville, NC passed away suddenly on May 11, 2022. He was born on May 17, 1975, in Whiteville, NC, however it was Fayetteville he called home.

After earning several degrees from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2002, he was employed by the Cumberland County School System's IT department for over 15 years. Following this experience, he continued working in IT as an independent IT specialist.

He is survived by his son Tyler McAlister of Raleigh, NC, his daughter Hayley Puczylowski of Fayetteville, NC, his father Steve McAlister of Fayetteville, NC, and his mother Alice Breece of Fayetteville, NC.

Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Roy and Mildred McAlister, and his maternal grandparents Lawrence and Alice Treadway.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday May 19, 2022, at Abner Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Greer, SC.
