FAYETTEVILLE - Jeffrey M. Koonce, 41, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Koonce is survived by his mother, Faye Koonce; two sisters, Wanda Bill and Darlene Owensby; a special son, Jeffrey Koonce; daughter, Amber Matthews; three nieces; a nephew; two great-nieces; four great-nephews; and the love of his life and her two children. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
