Jerry Lynn Poston, 77, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Jerry was born February 29, 1944 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Docia and Howard Maddox.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Brenda and Rebecca Poston; son, Tod Poston; daughter, Lynette Poston; brother, Donald Poston.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 10 am at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9-10:00 am.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Shannon Tatum and fiancé James Tolbert; son, Ryan Poston; fiancé, Daisy Kirit; grandchildren, Ashley Dodd, Devin Cayler, Colby Poston,  Leslie Booker, Erica Brouhard, Presley Nolen, Memphis Nolen, Liam Poston, Arington and Ashlan Duffer; 8 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
