Jessica Irene Garcia, 34 of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021

A memorial service will be held on Monday August 23, 2021 at 6pm in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home; the family will receive friends following the service.

Jessica Irene Garcia was born in Columbia, South Carolina to Ronald and Deborah Garcia on December 11th, 1986. She was the oldest of three daughters.

Jessica attended high school in Hope Mills, NC at South View High her freshman and sophomore years and at Gray's Creek High school for her Junior and Senior year. After the loss of her mother, Jessica moved to Louisiana and obtained her high school diploma at Pearl River Community. Jessica was a certified aesthetician and completed the certification program at Central Carolina Community in Sanford. Not only did Jessica have a passion for cosmetology, but had an even greater passion for animals, especially horses. Jessica worked as a veterinary assistant at Banfield Pet hospital in Fayetteville and then transition into the dental field and was a faithful employee at Carolina Lakes Family Dentistry in Cameron and was promoted to Office Manager. She was loved by her co-workers and was well known as their 'Glitter Queen,' because anyone who knows Jessica, knew that glitter was her favorite color. Jessica had one favorite hobby and that hobby was her love for football and her love for the New Orleans Saints. You could always catch her on a Sunday afternoon shouting, "WHO DAT!"

Jessica is survived by her father, Ronald Lee Garcia Sr of Fayetteville; sisters: Jaimie Garcia of Fayetteville and Jennifer Garcia-Thomas of Lexington; nephews, Tristan and Embry Brashear; nieces, Savannah Garcia and Caroline Thomas. Grandparents; Thomas and Dorothy Arthur of Franklinton, Louisiana.
