Mrs. Jessie Bain McCoy, 89 of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, Feb 9, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. McCoy, Sr.; infant son, James Golden McCoy; two brothers, Earle and Clarence F. Bain; five sisters, Virginia B. Curry, Ava Delle Owen, Grace Royal, Vernon Kinlaw and Eva Beard; and a granddaughter, Melissa Dawn McCoy. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Feb 12, 2008, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at MacPherson Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She is survivied by three sons, the Rev. William A. McCoy and Richard Delbert McCoy, both of Fayetteville and John H. McCoy Jr.of Maysville; one sister, Myra Bain Stanton of Fayetteville; three grandsons, James Allen, Michael John and Robert Allen McCoy; and four great granchildren, Nikolas Kyle, Devin Allen, Samantha Marie and Alexander Caitlin McCoy.
