Jethro Turlington "J.T." Barefoot, 84, of Fayetteville, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Mr. Barefoot was the former manager of Stewart Olds-Nissan body shop. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of Haymount United Methodist Church and Phoenix Masonic Lodge No. 8 in Fayetteville, and was a Shriner with Sudan Temple in New Bern. Graveside services with Masonic rites will be held at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 7, 2007, in Lafayette Memorial Park with Dr. David Gira officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. today at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mr. Barefoot is survived by several nieces and nephews.
