Fayetteville, Jewell L. Tubbs, 53 of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, September 11, 2013. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 15 at 2:30 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Mrs. Tubbs was preceded in death by her mother June Chambers, and a sister Janice Pennypacker. She is survived by her boyfriend, Jeffrey Griffin; daughters, Gerri Johnson and Michelle Tubbs; brother, Vernon Newton; sister, Pam Chambers-Auler; Father, Gerald Chambers; grandchildren, Christian Jackson and Breanna Tart; and a niece Kendall Jackson.
