Obituary

Jimmie Stanley Hall was born October 2, 1949, in Autryville to Lois Cashwell and Marion G. Hall. He passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015, in FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents; an older brother, Joe of Autryville; and a sister-in-law, Scottie Wilson of Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Lewis Hall of Fayetteville; a sister, Patricia Flynn and nieces of Autryville; daughter, Melissa Hannah (Richard) and grandchildren Sarah and Taylor Wike of Fort Campbell, Ky.; stepsons, Reece Lewis (Angie) Freddie Lewis (Felicia) and grandsons Freddie and Faison Lewis of Fayetteville. In-laws, Jerry Wilson, Gary Wilson (Brenda) of Fayetteville and in-laws Sean (Deborah) Eubanks of Fort Valley, Ga.

Jimmie proudly worked for Sears for 20 years and mobile home sales until he and Beverly worked together and owned several business in Fayetteville.

Jimmie enjoyed his time with friends on the golf course until his illness no longer allowed him to play.

Jimmie's faith allowed him to face his imminent death with much courage and peace. His time at home was spent studying more of the Bible and watching sermons from Snyder on the computer.

Jimmie was able to spend the last year and a half helping to raise his two grandsons and teaching them so much about life and becoming young men.

Everyone who Jimmie came in contact with was instantly taken with his zest for life and his talent for making them feel special.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, in Snyder Memorial Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. John Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, in the church gathering hall.
