Jimmy Linwood Crumpler, Sr. 81 of Eastover passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Linwood was born September 25, 1935 in Sampson County to the late Geneva Warren and Wilbert Lee Crumpler.
Linwood was a deacon and Sunday School teacher at Temple Baptist Church. He was a co-founder of Tire Sales & Service. Linwood was a loving husband, father, PaPa, brother and friend.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. in Temple Baptist Church with Dr. Kelly Bullard, Dr. Robert Phipps, and Rev. J.D. Tew, officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Linwood is survived by his wife, Geraldine Ivey Crumpler of the home; son, Jimmy Linwood Crumpler, Jr. and wife Peggy of Stedman; daughter, Ann Crumpler Tew and husband Gary of Fayetteville; granddaughters, Victoria Rae Crumpler and Savannah Ivey Crumpler; brothers, Aubrey Crumpler, Nelson Crumpler and Ted Crumpler all of Graham; sisters, Joyce Poole of Salemburg, Carolyn Lee of Burlington, Frances Keen of Graham.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church 3159 Sanderosa Rd. Fayetteville, N.C. 28312.
