Jimmy Howard Jernigan, 78, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at his home with his beloved family by his side.

Jimmy was born March 16, 1943 in Sampson County, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Suggs, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until 1:00 pm on Friday. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jernigan; daughters, Sandy Vega and Sheila Current; grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan, and Christina Milson; Candace, Aaron, and Joseph Vega; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
