Mrs. Joan Combs Raynor, 76, of Eastover, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, in Bethesda Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014 at 2:30p.m. in Jernigan-Warren chapel with burial following in Salem United Methodist Church cemetery. Mrs. Raynor was preceded in death by her father, R.E. Combs; and her daughter, Kimberly Steedly. Surviving are her husband, Laurice M.Raynor Sr.; son, Laurice "Larry" M. Raynor Jr. ; mother, Mary Lee Combs; brother, Mike Combs; and grandson, Richard West. The family will receive friends Sunday, Aug. 24 ,2014 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., an hour prior to the service, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
