JoAnn Seymour
FAYETTEVILLE — Mrs. JoAnn Seymour, born Aug. 7, 1938, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2012.
Left to cherish her memory are her best friend and loving husband of 57 years, Jack Seymour; her devoted children, son, John Seymour and wife Karen of Raleigh; son, Jack Seymour and wife Nathalie of Las Vegas; daughter, Jill Williams and husband Jeffrey of Fayetteville; and daughter, Jennifer Ayars and husband James of Southern Pines; the delights of her life, her six grandchildren, Kyle and wife Angela, Virginia, Victoria, Matthew, Michael, and James; and two great-grandchildren, David and John.
She dedicated her life to serving others. She cared for the children of Cumberland County through her devotion as a cafeteria school manager for 20 years. She worked with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts for a number of years alongside her husband. JoAnn was a member of the Fayetteville Sail and Power Squadron. She loved to travel, care for her plants and watch her grandchildren grow.
