Joanne G. Barton, 75, of Fayetteviile went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at her home.

She leaves behind a legacy that testifies what a wonderful wife, mother, nanny and friend. She loved the Lord with all her heart and leaves behind with her family wonderful memories that will be cherished forever. She was the rock of the family with strength and everlasting faith that she shared with all.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, James P. Barton, Jr. and her two sons. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Candace Stafford and her husband, 4 grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters. She was loved tremendously and will continue to be loved forever and ever and we will continue her legacy forever.

A private family service will be held Saturday.
