John R. Bowles Jr. | FAYETTEVILLE - Life for John R. \\"Pops\\" Bowles Jr., 59, suddenly and tragically ended Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010. Through a saving faith and acceptance of his savior, Jesus Christ, his new life will begin again with son, Bryan Harrington Bowles. With pride and love, we will celebrate his life from 2:30 to 4 p.m. today, Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home with his family. Immediately following the visitation, we will continue with services in the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Woody Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. Please join his mother, Aslee E. John always celebrated life to the fullest with his friends on the golf course; and his years of proudly coaching his extra kids in baseball, soccer and basketball, earned him the beloved name of \\"Coach.\\" His gift of \\"gab\\" was always entertaining.
