John L. Brandt, 83, of Hope Mills passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital with his beloved family by his side.

John was born December 24, 1937 in Fairbury, Nebraska to the late Velma and Robert Brandt.

He was a retired Master Sergeant with the US Army.

There are no services planned at this time.

John is survived by his wife, Renate W. Brandt; sons, Michael Robert Brandt and Andrew Brandt.

The family would like to thank Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.
