John Faison Fail, 80, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mr. Fail was a veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Victory Medal. He was a faithful member of Haymount United Methodist Church and the owner and operator of Faison Fail Trucking Co. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, in the chapel of Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville with the Rev. David Gira officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, Aug. 7, 2008, at the funeral home.
