John Henry Hopewell's Obituary
SSG John Henry "Jack" Hopewell, 84 died peacefully at Cape Fear Valley hospital on November 30, 2018.
A veteran of the Vietnam War where he earned several medals including Vietnam Service Medal, Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal. John Retired from the Army on November 30, 1977 after serving twenty years then started another career working at DuPont in Fayetteville NC. John retired from Du Pont and enjoyed the remainder of his life at home with his wife Ok.
He is survived by his wife Ok Hopewell
Graveside services to be held on Thursday December 6th 2018 at 12:00 PM at Sandhills State Cemetery, Fort Bragg, NC with Full Military Honors
