John S. "Steve" LaMartiniere Jr., 58, of Parkton, passed away quietly on March 24, 2016 surrounded by family.

Steve is an Air Force veteran who also had a varied civilian career prior to his civil service. He was employed by the U.S. Civil Service for 28 years, holding several different positions worldwide. Steve completed his career as an Administrative Assistant for the Supply Chain Management Branch under the Directorate of Logistics Command at Womack Army Medical Center, Ft. Bragg, NC.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 2 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be determined.

Steve is predeceased in death by his parents, John S. LaMartiniere Sr. and Evelyn M. Beall.

He is survived by the love of his life, Marlene B. LaMartiniere, his wife of 39 years; two beautiful daughters, Jessica LaMartiniere and her husband Matthew D. McDonough of Washington D.C. and Amanda LaMartiniere of Rochester, N.Y.; one sister Sandra Charrier and husband Wayne of Folsom, L.A. and a host of family and friends.
