John H. Manley RAMSTEIN, Germany - John Henry Manley, 51, formerly of Fayetteville, N.C., died Thursday, July 15, 2010, in Germany. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Jimmy Atkinson officiating. Burial in Lafayette Memorial Park West. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at the funeral home. Mr. Manley attended Seventy-First High School in Fayetteville and graduated from Frankfurt High School in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1977. He was an employee of the Department of Defense from 1978 to 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack R. Manley. He is survived by his mother, Norma Manley of Fayetteville; brothers, Gene Manley and wife Elaina of Yuba City, Calif., and Rodney Manley and wife Leslie of Holden Beach, N.C.; sisters, Pamela Pitman and husband William of Fayetteville, Sandra Hunt of Williston, S.C.; and Nina Johnson and husband Randy of Parkton, N.C.; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of beloved friends and extended family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
