John Paul Meadows Sr., 54, of Raeford, died Sunday, January 7, 2007, in UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Mr. Meadows was an Army veteran. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, January 11, in the Jernigan Warren chapel. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 pm at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Earline Alana Meadows of Raeford; daughter, Nina Catianna Brown of Puyallup, Washington; sons, John Paul Meadows Jr. and Christopher George Earl Meadows, both of Fayetteville, and Bryan Thomas Meadows of Raeford; sister, Judy Daigle of Texas; brothers, George Meadows Jr. and Mark Clark Meadows, both of Fayetteville; parents George and Masumi Meadows of Fayetteville; and three grandchildren, Jordan Murphy, Isabella Brown and Dylan Meadows.
