John Bradley Mitchell, 70, Of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at home.

John was born in Santa Ana, CA to the late Betty Darrow Mitchell and Col. Raymond Lee Mitchell. John was a Retired CW2 Army Physician Assistant. John deployed multiple times after his retirement as a Private Contractor in his medical capacity as a PA-C to help save lives in Afghanistan and Iraq.

His favorite activities were studying Tai Chi, Martial Arts, online gaming, and traveling.

John is survived by his wife, Dorene Cook Mitchell; sons John B. Mitchell and Marshall Mitchell; Stepdaughter Amanda Kay Vandergrift; six Grandchildren, Elijah Kay, Brice Torres, Brianna Kay, Therrin Mitchell, Makenna Vandergrift and Sloan Mitchell.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at 2pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel.
