Mr. John Edward Stahl, Sr, 84 of Fayetteville, Passed away Sunday, January 3, 2009. He is a retired US Marine Gunnery Sergeant and a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He retired from Kelly-Springfield, His hobbies included Fishing, Trains, Coins and John Wayne. He laid down his life for his family and his country. He was preceded in death by a daughter Katherine Ruth Stahl. The family will receive friends Wednesday January 6, 2009 from 2pm to 3pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, the funeral service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home chapel. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beverly J. Stahl of the home, Son, John E. Stahl, Jr and Wife Sharon of Pennsylvania, Daughter, Christine Jobson and husband William of Oklahoma, son, David Stahl and wife Karen of Jacksonville, NC, Daughter, Debra Sullivan and husband Michael of Fayetteville, and a son Thom Stahl of Fayetteville, three sisters Carol Barto of Pennsylvania and Gretchen Ondrusko of Wyoming, and Mary Lou Henry of Ohio, two Aunts, Garnet Helsel and Helen Barron of Pennsylvania. 10 grandchildren, Stacy Turner, Jason, Corey and Blake Jobson, Davey, Daniel, Josh Stahl and Connie Moller, Sabrina Sullivan and Candace Pfoff. 14 Great-Grandchildren, Danielle, Nathanael, and Zoe Turner, Khalil and Kiandra Freeman, Kristopher, Maddox , Ava, and Addison Jobson, Kaleb, Abigail and John Stahl, Toby and Alyssa Sheehan.
