Mr. Joshua Tommy Powell, 27, of Linden, passed on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. He is survived by his mother, Paula Turner; father, Michael Powell; step-father, Wayne Turner; brother, Nathan Turner; grandparents, Carroll and Carol Sue Powell; aunts, Dianne and Barbara Howell, Vickie Powell; nieces, Alexis and Taylor Jones, Kiley Crusen; and cousins, Jessie, Dustin, Manix, Jonathan, Amanda, Brent, Rachel, Little Jerry, Jillian. He was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Jones and his uncle, David Walker Powell, Sr. Joshua loved his family very much. In fact, nothing was more important to him than his family, besides his faith. He was also a passionate movie aficionado ; loving all films ranging from the classics to the most recent.
