Ms. Joyce McLaurin Averitte, died September 13, 2013. She was born February 26th, 1924, to Dougald Leondas McLaurin and Dora Smith McLaurin. Funeral Services will be held today, Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church with the Rev. John Campbell officiating burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Ms. Averitte was preceded in death by her son Gary Averitte, three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by daughter, Diane Averitte Sparkman and husband Richard; sisters, Louvenia Morefield and Hellon Beard; daughter-in-law, Jinx Averitte; granddaughters, Emily Sparkman, Andrea Averitte Jones, and huband Kenny, and Stormy Schumann-Richie and husband Matt; great grandsons, Mason Jones, Kai Ritchie and Logan Ritchie The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 2-3 p.m. today, at Lebanon Baptist Church.
