Mrs. Joyce Anderson Cole, 85, of Fayetteville, NC, died Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mrs. Cole was born July 21, 1936, in Wayne County, NC, to the late Jesse Joseph Anderson and Alice Padgett Anderson.  She retired as a Registered Nurse after 40 years of practice, most of which was spent at Highsmith-Rainey Hospital.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, with the funeral service following in the Chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.

Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her husband, of 63 years, Luther Robert "Bob" Cole, who died on January 21, 2022.

Survivors include a son, Jeff Cole and wife Tammy; a daughter, Jennifer Cole Vinson and husband Daniel; grandchildren; Adam Jackson and wife Courtney and daughters Carlie, Mason, and Emerson; Stephanie Jackson and daughter Anna; Matthew Jackson and wife Ashley and son Waylon; Jacob Jackson and wife Kristen and sons Finn and Oliver; Kristin Cole Rogers and husband Cameron and daughter Amelia; Eric Cole and fiancé Tiffany; and Jenna Vinson; brothers, Charles Anderson and wife Tommi and Glenn Anderson and wife Glenda.
