Joyce Jackson Beau was born on March 31, 1930 She passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 in Fayetteville at age 90.  She was married on July 5, 1949 to Henry Roland Beau who proceeds her in death. Joyce leaves behind two sons, Robert Arthur Beau of Fayetteville, NC and James Allen Beau and his wife, Kim Carlson of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Joyce had six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Joyce loved her church and sang soprano in their choir for many years. She led the Methodist Women's Club for several years.  Joyce was a candy striper volunteer at the Veterans Administration Hospital for years and an active member of The Fayetteville Women's Society. She was a supporter of the Cape Fear Regional Theater. She loved the arts and dance.

Joyce was a shining light to her family and to the Fayetteville Community. She will be missed.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 11am at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street with Pastor Alyce Singletary officiating.
