Joyce Wotring Ledford, 70, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Village Green Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Ms. Ledford was born on July 2, 1951, in Aurora, WV, to the late Robert and Elaine Wotring.  She was a retired educator from Lewis Chapel Middle School and a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Ledford is preceded in death by her husband, James Paige Ledford.

Ms. Ledford is survived by a daughter:  Jennifer Ledford Kinlaw (Glen) of Wilmington; a son:  Jeremy Peyton Ledford (Mimi), of Hope Mills; two sisters, Diane Lantz and Patricia Wotring, both of West Virginia; and nine grandchildren: Zion, Cannan, Kristen, JoJo, Jacob, Mary, Hunter, Angel, and Asher.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, 2115 Middle Rd., Eastover, NC 28312.
