Mrs. Joyce Marie Wiggins, 78, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Salutatorian of her high school class, Mrs. Wiggins was retired from textiles, an occupation that took her to Africa, as well as many towns throughout the Southeast. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville, with the service following at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tryon Lancaster officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. She is survived by sons, David Vaughn of Fayetteville, and John Wiggins and wife Joni of Hope Mills; sister, Juanita Cannon of Fayetteville; brother, Fletcher Price of Fayetteville; and grandchildren, William Vaughn of Raleigh, and Emily and Megan Wiggins of Hope Mills.
