Mrs. Juanita Gertrude Cannon, 90 of Fayetteville passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. with Dr. Tryon Lancaster, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Cannon was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Rufus R. Cannon; brother Fletcher Price and sister Joyce Wiggins. She is survived by her son Don Cannon and wife Katherine of Fayetteville; daughter Karen Cannon of Fayetteville; nephews Tim Cannon and David Vaughn; Grandson John Curtis Porter, grand daughter Christina Gayle Chisholm and great granddaughter Hayden Porter. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
