FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Juanita V. Pitts, 84, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center. Mrs. Pitts attended Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sloan Pitts; and sons, Jack Carol Pitts and Robin Pitts. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Gary Pitts and his wife, Joy, of Fayetteville; daughter, Wanda Cheshire of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Pitts will be private, with the Rev. Dennis Bowen officiating. The family received friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
