Mrs. Judy McFayden Everette, born June 1, 1938 to Hester & Lucille McFayden, beloved wife of James E. Everette, Jr. went to be with her Lord and Saviour on July 20, 2011. She was a loving wife of 53 years, a mother of two sons, James E. Everette III. and his wife Lisa of Wilmington & Richard Dean Everette and his wife Timberly of Hope Mills, grandmother of Jonathan, Austin, and Megan, and sister to Tommy McFayden, Charles McFayden, Catherine Scott, Bobbie Sibbett, Hariett Webster, Robert McFayden & Billy McFayden. She was a devoted follower of Jesus who lived out her devotion through the ministries of First Baptist Church. Her career as an employee of Fayetteville Publishing Company & Cumberland County Schools spanned 25 years. She enjoyed the autumn of her life with her husband & family relaxing at Holden Beach, NC. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11:00am in Village Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the McFayden Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the James E. & Judy M. Everette Scholarship at the divinity school of Campbell University, Buies Creek, NC or the New Century Fund at First Baptist Church, 201 Anderson St, Fayetteville, NC 28301
