Julius F. "Jack" Willis, age 70, of Fayetteville, passed away on March 6, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Willis, born in Fayetteville, N.C., was preceded in death by his father Vance G. Willis.

Survivors include his mother Pearl B. Willis; his brother Calvin N Willis (Susan); and nieces Amanda Ransom (Todd) and Amy Amara (Wael).

Mr. Willis faithfully served in the United States Army, including a tour in Vietnam. A graduate of Methodist College, he moved into a successful career in pharmaceutical sales until his retirement in 2002.

The family extends special thanks to the staff at Home Instead and to long-time friend Wally Hinkamp for their help and support.

An informal gathering of family and friends will be held at the Elks Lodge on Gables Drive in Fayetteville between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 pm on Saturday, March 10.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Carolina Library for the Blind or to your favorite charity in memory of Mr. Willis.
