Karen Marie Bowyer, 65 of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Woodland Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Karen was born on February 11, 1956, in Delaware County, PA to the late Richard Hawkins and Rita Beauchamp Hawkins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, follow the service she will be laid to rest by her husband, John W. Bowyer III. The family will recieve friends at 9 a.m. prior to the service at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

She is survived by her sons, Richard "Rich" Thomson and wife Rachel, and Harry Thomson; grandson, Damon Thomson; sisters, Robin, Lisa and Bonnie.
