Our mother, Karin Julian, born in Augsburg in May of 1939, grew up in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. As a child she loved stories of American settlers and cowboys. Later, she met her husband of 57 years, Herman J. Julian, and, in December 1958, they married.

After moving to the United States, they bought their home and had 3 daughters, Ingrid, Susan, and Antje.  Karin became a proud U.S. citizen in 1965.  They were further blessed with 6 wonderful grand children and 10 lovely great-grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly.

Always led by her love of God and His Word, Karin gave generously to many charities, both local and national as well as worldwide.

After 83 years in this life, on the morning of Friday, December 23rd, 2022, our mother was called Home.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will   follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28304.
