K arla Lee Coleman Johnson, 61, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Karla was born on November 23, 1960, in Flint, Michigan to the late Robert Nash Coleman, Sr. and Marie Sue Lewandowski Coleman.

She worked as a title clerk with DMV and various car dealerships. Her true passion was being a farmer's wife and riding horses. She enjoyed going barefoot and sipping sweet tea while rocking on her front porch.  She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10-11 prior to the service at the funeral home.

In addition to her parents, Karla was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Johnson and her sister, Barbara Coleman.

Surviving are her sons, Steven Johnson and wife Jaime, Brian Johnson; brothers, Robert "Bobby" Nash Coleman, Jr. and Chris Coleman and wife Morgan; grandson Ethan Johnson; brother-in-law, Jimmy Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
