Cedar Crest, New Mexico- Mrs. Katherine Owen Myers, 91, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Educated in Cumberland Co. and Fayetteville schools, she attended Greensboro College, then joined the staff of Fred M. Hodges in Richmond, Va. as an x-ray technician. She married Edward L. Myers and they had one daughter. Later they moved to Hampton, Va. then Norfolk, and ultimately to the Albuquerque area. The Myers family readily adapted to Southwestern culture and cuisine. Friends and family were her dearest treasures, and she loved to share with them the beauty and attributes of New Mexico. Keeping up with her energetic pace tested one
